Today I went to an arcade. I spent 500Y trying to get a doll of Franky from One Piece... I failed. I was very sad.
So instead Prisca and I went to a crane game (literally; it's a crane game. Think the quarter games from the fall fair, but with cranes...).
I spent 200Y on that and managed to win a grand prize of almost 2000Y worth of chocolate. We were very, very happy foreigners. Little children clapped for me...haha.

Then we did 3 hours of karaoke...

Prisca and I also went to the 100Y shop (i.e japanese dollar store). We were walking down the isles when all of a sudden a group of about 6 boys, I would say around my age, walks past us. One of the guys turns around and runs up to us and yells "HEEEY!!!"
So, I responded with a "HELLO!!" Then he yells, "HELLO!!!"
Then he gave me a high five and ran away.
Pretty sweet.

Oh gee I havent updated in a coons age.
Um.
Did stuff, yeaaaah. Since my last update? I don't even know...
I go to Holly's Cafe a lot to study with Scott. I feel I am getting better at speaking, which is good. My kanji are roughly entering the 400 range. I'm getting there, slowly enough. There is also a possibility of me taking the Japanese Proffeciency test (level 4) in december... we'll see how that goes. I dont really wanna pay for it though, so who knows.

I dyed my hair blonde. I guess "bleached" is the better verb to use in this sentence. I bleached it on friday, then re-bleached it yestarday for that ultra yellow shine. I want it to be white though... Maybe I can buy white dye in Shinsaibashi.

Maybe if I didn't spend all my money on random crap and karaoke I would be able to afford tests... naaaah.

Saw Prisca again on sunday. We did karaoke and purikura, mostly because there was nothing else to do in the time span her host family gave us to hang out with.

Doesnt matter. We are planning to hang out again and we are having a christmas party here, so that's going to be nice.

I have a job, sort of. Marking english tests for my school. Every tuesday in 3rd and 4th period. Not sure of the pay yet, but any pay is good pay, especially for an easy job like that. Harumi will be there as well, so that's nice.

I have many plans as well, I am excited. Going out to dinner with Scott and his students on saturday, since they apperantly loved me (??). I guess they talk about me when I'm not there...? I am "kakkoii" to them. Like, how would I translate kakkoii? It's usually used as a more manly adjective, for "cool". When I use it I think of rock stars... haha. Which I am defs not.
Next week my tutor and I are going to USJ (Universal Studio's... wooo♥). It's been 2 years since my last trip to a Universal Studios.
It also appears that my tutor has found my livejournal... I guess leaving a link on skype was a bad idea. Haha whoopsie.
I don't really have anything else to say after this. Here, have a picture.

And Salmon Arm too, I guess. I wasn't really there long enough... though, I did make some rad friends in Sicamous. I miss them too I suppose :} haha♥

Went to Nara instead of Kyoto, but all is good because I got to go to the onsen, tattoo's and all :) I couldn't be happier! Went with my teacher and the exchange student from high school, who is attending my universities high school. So, we are both Tezukayama Exchange students. She was awesome. She is from germany. I think I will be hanging out with her more often.

I will post pictures on my facebook when I get pictures. We mostly used Chieko and Prisca's camera's today.
But it was great anyways :) :) ♥

My Hallowe'en

Anyways.
I went with Scott for Hallowe'en cause I have no friends. I was a pikachu! aw yeah.
First we went to a Hallowe'en party from Scott's work. That was really fun. Lot's of people and english.
And a 3 with an 11. No one knows how that happened, but it did.

After that we wondered the streets of Namba dressed up. You wouldn't believe how many people wanted pictures with us! It was so weird. I felt famous. Everyone kept yelling for "Pikachu!" or "Mario!". Sadly, people thought Scott was Yoshi. Apperantly, in Godzilla is Black, not green. Hmmm.
In between thousands of pictures with Japanese people, we got our own pictures. My favorite is Super Smash Brothers, Namba Style.

We went to a club (Balabushka). It was to crowded and smoky for me, and after about 30 minutes I started freaking out, so I went outside. I sat there, then Scott and Bon also came outside, I guess the club started playing some really crappy music.
So then we went to a different club. I don't remember the name, and it was more of a bar than a club, but it was still really fun.
I drank more then than I have in the past 3 years. On the bright side, the bartender knew my order after a while.
Then we walked outside the bar for a while, and saw some foreigners (like us!) walking around, looking for their friends. We said hi and they filled my now empty cup full of whiskey, which they just happened to have on them. Thank you, fellow whiteys! So I drank a cup of whiskey. I am rather proud of myself. Straight whiskey. Yumm.

And the only reason I am putting that I drank here is so my mom can realize that YES I AM DOING STUFF. Geez louis.

Umm.
After that bar me and scott went to mcdonalds for some 3am fuel.
After that we went back to their apartment, where they allowed me to crash.
Now I am home!
It was a very fun Hallowe'en indeed.

Luckily, I know many people who also love singing to bgm's. This is good.
I am making curry rice for dinner. Aside from yakisoba, I could probably eat curry rice every day of my life and not get bored.
Also, Pokemon Silver= My life. Good lordy lord.
I think I will go for a walk later. It`s dark out now so it`s not as hot anymore. Plus 25C today... I can`t wait for winter.

Update time from Amberrrrrr.

Well. I dont remember all the things I did. So I am just gonna be random. Make some popcorn or something and love me.

So I caught the worst cold of my life, for those of you who havent seen my facebook feed from last week. It started off as a little cold, from walking around in the typhoon minus an umbrella. Whatever, colds are no big, right?
WRONG.
It soon developed into this deathly hurt thing. I didnt go to school for a total of 3 days (Thursday, Friday, and a personal day on monday, even though I have no class that day..) Anyways. I was basically just throwing up and my throat was swollen and terrible. I thought I was going to die, quite literally. I havent been that sick since... Hell, I can't even remember.
But now I am better! I went to the Pharmacy in my grocery store and got some throat pills that made my tonsils un-swollen. Awesome, I know.
But I ate nothing but Yakisoba for 5 days. It was all my stomach could handle. That and I was to ill to go out and buy soup... haha. But I am good and genki and awesome sauce.

So, what did I learn? To buy an umbrella. Japanese people arent as ridiculous as I thought.

So, my Nintendo DSLite officially packed it in. The screen fritz' and dies. I wasn't going to buy a DSi, I didn't in Canada, because they arent in Pink yet. BUT.
I go to the Denki-yasan (Electric Store) and they have a PINK DSi. This happens a day after mine died. I think it's fate.

Well, that was Yestarday. I also met up with Scott and Bon again. So much fun to see them! Well, I mostly hang out with Scott and Bon comes every once in a while. But still! I have 2 big brothers again :) Feels good bro. We went to this huge shopping mall and I bought a new cardigan. IT WAS CHEAP MOM DONT WORRY. Plus I need to get new clothes anyways. Between me not eating for 4 days and walking everywhere and being a cheap ass when it comes to getting my own groceries, I have lost, how can I say, to much weight? To much weight to soon. None of my pants fit and my belt only fits on my skinnies. So if anyone wants to buy me skinny jeans, I am a size 12 (But all things considering, I'm prolly a size 10 now).

Doopy doo. Oh! My camera! My adorable, awesome new camera, HAS A HUGE DENT IN IT.
I have no idea where this dent came from. I just noticed it this morning. So it happened sometime between 12am-8am. Because there was no effing dent in it last night when I was taking pictures in Yokotsuzumi.
The camera itself still works perfectly well, the lens is fine, the screen is good, but this dent makes it harder to open. I am tragically upset by this. I seriously have been taking such good care of this camera. I didnt throw it anywhere, but it looks like something heavy fell on it? Which is weird, because my camera is the heaviest thing in my purse, with the iPod coming in second, and there is no way my ipod could dent the camera like this.
Or maybe my ipod was just jealous because it's dented and scratched and has been dropped to many times, and my camera (WAS) shiny and new. I'll bet that's it.

So, my japanese classes are going great. It's funny though, because I take classes with Son, and he seems to think I am a japanese whiz. I mean, my talking is retarded slow and takes me forever to think about what I want to say, but 9/10 I understand everything people say to me. So he always talks like, super quiet and avoids eye contact during class. Outside of class he's awesome though. Hmm weird koreans.

Aaaaaand today we went to Shinsaibashi, just a little away from Namba, which is like, SHOPPING. Scott took me to a huge nerdy anime store where I was SO TEMPTED SO HELP ME GOD to buy a sailor moon cell. It was only 50$!! I COULD HAVE OWNED ANIME HISTORY. But the one of Rini was only 20$... They had studio ghibli ones too!! Of Princess Mononoke! I swear if they had stills of the boar gods, I would own it right now, no questions asked. But they were all emo Ashitaka. Baaaaw. There was also a shitload of Cosplay, Lolita, BL Manga, Porn, Action Figures, Cd's, DVD's and..... DOLLFIES. If they werent 600$ I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE. But they didn't really have any of the styles I wanted so meh. I'm good.
We then went to find DDR. I am happy to say I beat Scott atleast 70% of the time. And I had a knee brace on! It was like a handicapp. I hope he feels good about beating a cripple!!
Then we went to McDonalds where I whored off the free WiFi for my shiny new DSi.
The Dsi Has a built in "Upload to Facebook" option. AWESOME? I THINK YES.

And now I am home, it is almost 1am, I should probably sleep since I have school tomorrow and I need to get tutored in 3rd period, then find the city hall and get my Foreigner ID card. I also need to go to the Sunkus and pay my electric bill, and possibly my other bill I got in the mail today. Well, it was a receipt, but still.
Oh, and my school festival is going on this weekend. Not that anyone I know cares, but SEAMO is going to be there. I didnt caps that for joy, it's how his name is spelt. He's like, this famous Hip-Hop rap artist. I am trying to get Scott and possibly Bon to come to my school festival. WE WILL EAT YAKISOBA NOM NOM NOM.

Went to Karaoke with Scott in Tennouji, did that for 3 hours. He seemed to be having a lot of fun, so I am a happy little bumblebee. We then went to an arcade, and got more purikura and played Taiko.

I also had to buy a new bag. My pink one is ripped. And I just got it fixed too!! What a waste. I loved that bag :( But this new one is actually big enough to fit my school work in, so all is good. And it was only 20$. Trust me; that`s an intense deal.
